1. Free hearing checks

Free hearing checks are available for over 18s only. Only one free hearing check per customer per year. We reserve the right to cancel or vary this offer at any time without notice.

2. Hearingcare offer – More Treats for Over 60s

As a member of the Boots Advantage Card More Treats for Over 60s club, you're entitled to a free hearing health check plus 150 Boots Advantage Card points when you attend the appointment. (Maximum once per year.)

Appointments are subject to availability. Proof of age is required in order to participate in the Club. For full details, click here to be directed to the Boots Advantage Card website.

We reserve the right to cancel or vary this offer at any time without notice.

3. Our money-back guarantee

All hearing aids in our Essentials Range and Premium Range come with a 90-day money-back guarantee. This does not affect your statutory rights. Non-custom products only.

Nothing in these conditions will reduce your statutory rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods.  For further information about your statutory rights, you can contact the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission or Citizens Information Board.

4. Hearing aid warranties

Hearing aids within our Premium Range come with a four-year product warranty. Hearing aids within our Essentials Range come with a two-year product warranty unless otherwise stated.

Our warranty covers your hearing aid(s) against malfunction, breakdown and faulty workmanship. The warranty does not cover items such as ear moulds, receivers, remote controls or Bluetooth accessories.

Repairs or re-shells required due to misuse, accidental damage or loss of hearing aid are not covered by the warranty and would be chargeable. In addition, faults due to unauthorised repairs, wax or moisture are not covered by the warranty.

TERMS & CONDITIONS (Boots Hearingcare Mobile Journey)

1.    Preamble

The Boots Hearingcare Mobile Journey services (“Service” or “Services”) are operated by Boots Hearingcare Limited. Access to and use of the Services by users (“User” or “Users”) is subject to these Terms & Conditions of Use (“Terms of Use”). By accessing or using all part of the Service, the User declared that he or she has read, understood and agrees to be bound by these Terms of Use, including any future modifications thereto.

These Terms of Use may be updated from time to time. In this case, we will inform you that these Terms of Use have been modified and the “last updated” date at the top of this document will be modified. We recommend that you periodically review these Terms of Use.

2.    Legal Mentions

The service is operated by Boots Hearingcare Ltd, a public limited company, registered in the Commercial Registry of UK, under number 00823009, whose registered office is at 21 Trinity Square, Llandudno, Wales, LL30 2RH.

3.    Access and use of the Service

The intended use of the service is to select, configure and save appointments, within the limited range permitted by the software.

a.    Description of the Services offered

The Service allows the User to:

-    Appointment Management – the Service allows users to book, reschedule or cancel appointments.

4.    Intellectual property rights

Boots Hearingcare is the owner of the Service, both in its technical, graphic, textual or other components, with the sole reservation of the contents and data provided by third parties. In particular, the Service is accessible by means of software and databases designed and developed by Boots Hearingcare, which belong to it or over which it has intellectual property rights.

These Terms of Use do not grant the User any intellectual property rights over the Service, its components or Boots Hearingcare's brands and visuals. The User only benefits from a personal, non-transferable and non-exclusive right of use in accordance with these Terms of Use.

In particular, without this list being exhaustive, the User is not authorized to: reproduce the trademarks and logos of Boots Hearingcare, create hypertext links on elements of the Service, use or extract in whole or in part the databases and programs used by the Service, etc.

Any other use or exploitation not expressly referred to herein, or granted by contract with Boots Hearingcare, is not permitted and requires the express prior written consent of Boots Hearingcare.

5.    Obligations of the User

The User undertakes to:
-    Use the Service in accordance with its purpose and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
-    Ensure the confidentiality of his or her account identifiers, if any, and undertake to keep them secret and not to disclose them to any third party.
-    Accept that the implementation of the Services requires that he or she be connected to the Internet, and that the quality of the Services depends on these connections for which he or she is solely responsible.
-    Acknowledge that the Services offer him or her an additional but not alternative solution to the means available elsewhere to achieve the same objective and that this solution is not a substitute for these other means.

6.    Responsibility

Boots Hearingcare undertakes to use all necessary means to ensure the best possible provision of the Services offered to Users. Boots Hearingcare has an obligation of means, to the exclusion of any obligation of result, which the User expressly acknowledges and accepts.

Boots Hearingcare shall not be held liable in the event of force majeure or events beyond its control. Furthermore, Boots Hearingcare may not be held liable for any direct or indirect damage, even if Boots Hearingcare has been informed of the potential for such damage, which may arise from the use or inability to use the Service and in particular from the disruption, interruption or functional limitation of the Services resulting from a failure of the User's telephone network or Internet access provider.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law and to the extent that Boots Hearingcare would be held liable for damages not provided for the above, Boots Hearingcare's liability shall be limited to personal, direct and determined damages.

7.    Applicable law and competent jurisdiction

These Terms of Use are subject to the Laws of England and Wales. Any dispute or controversy relating to the execution or interpretation of these Terms of Use that cannot be settled amicably between the parties shall be submitted to the competent courts according to the applicable law.
